Due to a huge UP Ore train derailment at Frost on the BNSF Cajon Subdivision, Z's are being detoured on the UP east to Vaughn, NM. Today's ZLACWSP1 passes Banning in the late afternoon.

It has been nice seeing the Warbonnets back in service. BNSF 799 takes the second spot on a intermodal train.

A BNSF stack train races around the curve leading to Summit in Cajon Pass while in the background a Union Pacific stack train races up the Palmdale Cutoff. Of course racing is a relative term.
